EyeRest

Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 August 2026

EyeRest is licensed to you under Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store apps, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The notes below summarize points specific to this app.

Not medical advice

EyeRest is a general wellness and habit-reminder tool based on the commonly cited “20-20-20” guideline. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. If you have eye strain, headaches, vision changes, or any other health concern, consult a qualified professional.

Reminders

Reminders are delivered as local notifications. Their timing depends on iOS, your notification permissions, and your device settings — for example Focus modes, Low Power Mode, or a powered-off phone can delay or suppress them. We can't guarantee that every reminder arrives exactly on time.

Purchases

EyeRest offers a one-time purchase that unlocks customization features. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Purchases are processed by Apple and are tied to your Apple Account; you can restore them on your other devices. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, email us and we'll help.

Your data

All app data is stored on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details. Keeping backups of your device is your responsibility; deleting the app deletes your history.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
